CAD guidelines: AutoCAD Analog space and paper space brief introduction [1]

Editor's note: AutoCAD has two different space: namely, the model space and paper space (through the use of tags LAYOUT). There is probably a lot of CAD master these two concepts are not very understanding, the following one with us to find out their characteristics.

Model space as the population characteristics:

1, in the model space, you can draw full-scale two-dimensional graphics and three-dimensional model, with dimensioning.

2, model space, each viewport contains a view object. For example: set up different, as I will be overlooking the map, elevation, side view and three-dimensional map.

3, using VPORTS order to create the mouth as the mouth and visual settings, and can be saved, for later use.

4, depending on the mouth are tiled, and they should not overlap, always adjacent to each other.

5, at a certain moment there is only one viewport is active, the cursor can only appear in the Cross as a mouth, and can only edit the event, as I (pan, zoom, etc.).

6, only print as the mouth of the activity; if the UCS icon is set to ON, the icon will appear as the population in each.

7, system variables MAXACTVP decide the scope of the Viewport are 2-64.

Paper space viewports Medium features:

1, the status bar on the PAPER replaced MODEL.

2, VPORTS, PS, MS, and activation status in VPLAYER command. (Only MS command activated before the use of PLAN, VPOINT and DVIEW command).
